Lip Smackers - Day 20

 I was definitely not feelin this outfit today. I wasn't feeling well and I just wanted to wear my pajamas. But since a) I don't wear pj's in public and b) I'm still doing my 30x30, I didn't have much of an option. It's a shame I wasn't enthusiastic about it because I love everything I was wearing today very dearly. Even my necklace and rings.

 My hair is left over from yesterday. Which is pretty awesome. My hair rarely looks this good when slept on, which is why I normally wear it up. I've been getting a lot of compliments on my hair in the last couple posts. Thank you so much guys! I really appreciate it. People don't normally say anything about my hair unless its super red (which is the color I used to keep it), in which most people just said it was bright. So thank you again. You guys are so sweet! :)

 I can't believe it's already day 20! I have to admit, I can't wait until this month is over. I miss all my other clothes! This challenge is a lot more difficult than I originally thought it would be. But, it has kept me from shopping for a month. That's pretty impressive for me!

I went to Kmart this evening and ended up buying some old school Dr. Pepper and Vanilla flavored Lip Smackers. I love Lip Smackers! Why did I ever stop wearing it?!

Socks and sandals - Day 19

 Brrr it's cold outside! I don't know if you can see my goosebumps, but they're totally there! I'm trying to suffer through the chilly weather without a coat for pictures for as long as possible. I'm sure you can only get excited about so many pictures of my coats. Ha.

 I'm not sure if I'm sold on the socks and sandals. I've seen other girls do it, and I think it's cute. I guess it's just not as big of a fashion revelation as I originally thought it was. It's a good way to transition your summer shoes into fall. 

 I found this belt at a thrift store in Wausau. It came with a tank from Forever 21. The tank is cute, it's off-white with red polka-dots. It doesn't fit me quite perfectly, but I bought it for the belt ($2!!). I'm not even a big fan of apples, but for some reason I really like this.

I blow dried and straightened my hair this morning. This is day 1 of my allotted two days. If I tell you guys about it, it will force me to keep it down to only two days a week. I can't disappoint you guys!

P.S. My blog header was made by Kat. I met her on the IFB website and she offered to make my heading as practice for herself. It's she great?

I just wanted to let you all know that I made some updates! If you're interested, check out my "about moi!" and "the journey". I am still working on a logo, but I have decided this blog will be my fashion journey. What I know, what I'm learning, where I've been and where I'm going.

The perfect fall coat - Day 18

 I didn't want to wear my coat in my pictures so soon, especially since in a couple weeks, I'm not going to have much of an option, but it was pretty chilly today. This is a perfect fall coat. It more of a fleece, so it's warm enough for those early fall days. Then when it starts getting a bit cooler, I just pair a sweater under it until it's cold enough to wear my winter coat.

 A couple weeks ago, Cassie chopped all her hair off. Her hair was almost as long as mine and then she took the plunge and got a pixie cut, which is what you've seen on here. Since her ears are now always on display, she's been embracing large, super cute post earrings. These earrings of hers matched my shirt perfectly, so she let me borrow them!

I've got some plans for my blog! They're going to be great! Cassie's going to help me with the layout and I've been re-writing my about me's and such. I'm excited! It's all going to start lookin' real good! :)

Ch-ch-ch-changes - Day 17

 Why yes, I did get my hair cut today! Thank you for noticing! That was a joke, A) because I rarely wear my hair down, I wouldn't expect anyone to really notice, and B) I'm trying to grow it out so I cut as little as possible off. But now that all my split ends are gone, my hair can grow nice and healthy. I'm officially limiting myself to only two days a week of blow drying and/or straightening.

 I love fall and playing in the leaves. Especially when the leaves are on the sidewalk and not in a lawn. Leaves on the lawn can be filled with bugs and gross stuff. Leaves on the sidewalk are just that, leaves on the sidewalk.

 My neighbor probably hates me. I got leaves all over his front steps. I tried cleaning them up!

 

I'm very happy to announce that I've been approved to join IFB! I'm excited to meet other bloggers and learn so much more about this community! :)

I am currently in the process of deciding on what I would like this blog to be about. This week I will be planning and organizing, so expect some changes.
